Self-lubricating bushings
High sliding velocity
DJA MOND self-lubricating bushings operate without external lubrication, as the lubricant is integrated into the material itself, either in the form of a solid polymer layer or oil impregnated within a porous structure. During operation, the lubricant is gradually transferred to the sliding surfaces, providing exceptional benefits: maintenance-free operation, extended service life and reliable performance even in hard-to-reach applications.

Five types for every operating condition
The five types in this range differ in material, design technology, load capacity and temperature range, with each version optimized for specific operating conditions. Dry-running self-lubricating bushings with solid lubricant inserts (BG/AG/CG) are the choice for heavy loads and extreme temperatures, featuring a solid metal body. PTFE multilayer self-lubricating bushings (PT..SL) excel at high sliding speeds with reduced operating clearance. Sintered bronze and iron bushings (BZ/FE) are ideal for high rotational speeds and cost-effective production batches. Technopolymer bushings (EPB) offer lightweight design and chemical resistance for medium to light loads. Fiber bushings (FWB) ensure load capacities up to 140 MPa with extended dry-running operation. DJA MOND Multilayer self-lubricating bushings
PTFE composite layer | High sliding speed Three-layer structure consisting of a metal backing, a sintered porous bronze layer and a composite PTFE sliding layer. Reduced operating clearance, high sliding speed capability and negligible stick-slip effect. Available with steel, bronze or AISI 316 stainless steel backing.
DJA MOND bronze and iron sintered bushings
Oil-impregnated Porous structure impregnated with selected oil lubricant. Continuous self-lubricating film for maintenance-free operation. Ideal for high rotational speeds, excellent performance-to-cost ratio and complex custom geometries.
DJA MOND Engineering plastic bushings
-40°C/+80°C | For medium to light loads Self-lubricating engineering plastic material, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Maintenance-free dry-running operation with a low friction coefficient. An optimized solution for new applications with medium to light loads.
DJA MOND Fibre Bushings
Max. 140 MPa | Friction coefficient <0.12 Glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin with a PTFE or special fiber lubricating layer. Load capacity up to 140 MPa, extended dry-running operation without oil. Solution for exceptional loads at low speeds.TECHNICAL COMPARISON

SELECTION GUIDE
Start by identifying the operating conditions
JFK’s DJA MOND self-lubricating bushings cover a broad range of applications: from high-temperature environments and high-frequency operating cycles to situations where lubrication is not possible or where contact with food or water is a critical requirement. Start by identifying the operating condition that best matches your application.
High-temperature environments
Solid lubricant inserts that retain their performance up to +300°C, even without pre-lubrication.
High-speed continuous movements
PTFE layer that stabilizes during running-in, providing low friction at high speeds, reduced clearance and virtually no stick-slip effect.
Motors, actuators, high-frequency cycles
Continuous oil film released by the porous structure. Good performance-to-cost ratio, suitable for large production batches and custom-designed geometries.
High cleanliness and excellent chemical resistance
Pure bronze (BG..D) or AISI 316 stainless steel (PT..SLSS): both certified for applications requiring high hygiene standards.
Very high static or oscillating loads
Fiberglass and epoxy resin structure with a PTFE lubrication layer: up to 140 MPa specific load capacity, for extended dry-running operation.
Humid or chemically harsh environments
Technical polymer material: lightweight, corrosion-resistant and inert to numerous chemical agents, suitable for medium-light loads.Have a specific requirement?
