BAC.. Series

Four solutions for every operating condition, from heavy-duty loads to high-speed automotive applications.

Relubricable bushings are plain bearings that require initial or periodic lubrication with grease or oil to achieve higher load capacity and greater resistance than self-lubricating solutions. DJA MOND relubricable bushings, also referred to as grease-lubricated bushings or bushings with grease fittings, are designed for applications where high load capacity, shock and vibration resistance, and reliable performance in dirty or demanding environments are essential. This range of bushings is intended for operating conditions where the required performance benefits justify a lubrication plan, even with minimal maintenance requirements.

The four types in this range differ in structure, material and relubrication interval, with each version optimized for different application requirements.

POM/PEEK multilayer bushings (PT..RK) require only minimal initial lubrication and operate at high speeds with reduced running clearance. Case-hardened bushings (BAC) provide maximum resistance to wear and seizure, with relubrication intervals of up to 550 hours. Rolled bronze bushings (PB..AR/FP) are ideal for dirty environments with shock loads and vibrations, offering thin-wall design and minimal overall dimensions. Steel/bronze bimetallic bushings (BJ..) manufactured according to ISO 3547 withstand high sliding speeds and temperatures up to 260°C, typical of automotive applications.

DJA MOND multilayer POM relubricable bushings

POM/PEEK sliding layer with lubricant reservoirs | Minimal initial lubrication Bushings featuring a steel backing, a sintered porous bronze layer and a POM or PEEK sliding layer with lubricant reservoirs designed to retain grease. After initial greasing, no periodic relubrication is required. They provide excellent friction performance, low running clearance and reliable operation under shock loads. Available in RK, RKT (with machining allowance) and RK3/RKT3 (without lubricant reservoirs) versions.

DJA MOND Case-hardened bushings

Case-hardened surface HRC 58–62 | Relubrication intervals up to 550 hours Bushings manufactured from case-hardened steel and subjected to quenching and tempering treatments, with a case-hardening depth of 0.8–1 mm and a surface hardness of HRC 58–62 after final grinding. They offer excellent wear and seizure resistance, while the tough core absorbs shocks and mechanical stresses. After initial greasing, they provide relubrication intervals of up to 550 hours.

DJA MOND wrapped bronze bushings

CuSn8 bronze | Thin-wall construction, minimum installation space Thin-wall tin bronze (CuSn8) bushings featuring rhombic lubricant pockets (AR), through holes (FP) or solid lubricant pockets (ARG) for lubricant retention and storage. Available also with lubrication holes designed for grease accumulation and distribution. They provide reduced dimensions and weight while maintaining the same load capacity, together with easy mounting and lubrication. Continuous or periodic lubrication is required. BJ.. SERIES

SELECTION GUIDE

Start by identifying the operating conditions

La scelta corretta parte dall’applicazione: temperatura, cicli, carichi e ambiente definiscono il materiale e la tecnologia più adatti.

Near-zero maintenance with high performance

Only initial greasing required, with no periodic relubrication. High sliding speed capability, reduced running clearance and suitable for shock loads.

Maximum resistance to wear and seizure

Case-hardening treatment with surface hardness HRC 58–62 and a tough core. Relubrication intervals up to 550 hours, even in demanding industrial applications.

Minimal installation space and easy lubrication

Thin-wall bushings designed to minimize installation space while maintaining the same load capacity. Lubricant pockets or through holes ensure lubricant storage, making them ideal for agricultural, construction and lifting equipment.

High load capacity and heat dissipation

ISO 3547-compliant bimetallic structure with operating temperatures up to 260°C. The preferred solution for engines, pumps, compressors and gearboxes in automotive and industrial applications.
