JFK roller bearing housings
Cast iron housings for spherical roller bearings, designed for applications subject to high loads, shocks, vibrations, and severe environmental conditions. They compensate for shaft misalignment and support high radial loads and moderate axial loads. Used in material handling, heavy industry, quarries, and agricultural machinery.
JFK bearings for bearing units
Self-aligning ball and spherical roller bearings designed for use with dedicated housings. The spherical outer surface compensates for alignment errors, reducing wear and stress. Start by identifying the operating conditions
JFK bearing housings cover a wide range of applications: from lighter loads in aggressive environments to heavy-duty applications subject to shocks and vibrations, as well as installations where ease of mounting is the critical parameter. Start with the operating condition that best describes your application.
Moderate or heavy loads, mounting on a structure
Cast iron housings are the most widely used choice for moderate and heavy loads, featuring a robust one-piece structure and an integrated lubrication hole. They are available in the most common configurations, including UCP two-bolt flange units, or in pressed sheet steel for lighter loads where cost is the critical parameter.
Humid, food-processing, or chemically aggressive environments
Engineering plastic housings combine corrosion resistance, lightweight construction, and ease of cleaning. Compatible with steel or stainless steel bearings, they are the ideal solution for environments where metal housings would be exposed to corrosion or contamination.
High radial loads, demanding operating conditions
When loads are high and operating conditions are severe — shocks, vibrations, dust, and contaminants — spherical roller bearing housings provide the structural robustness and long service life that ball bearing housings cannot offer. Replacement or integration into existing housings
Bearing inserts are the ideal choice when only the bearing inside an existing housing needs to be replaced, or when configuring a customized unit by combining a housing and bearing with the characteristics best suited to the application.
