JFK bushings, also known as linear bearings, are components designed for linear motion on cylindrical shafts, available in ball recirculating and plain bearing versions. Both types offer precision, easy installation, and dimensional interchangeability, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
Ball recirculating bushings (or ball bushings) provide precise linear motion with low friction and long service life, requiring hardened and ground shafts. Plain bushings, when the shaft cannot be hardened, offer the advantage of operating on untreated shafts while also allowing rotation around the shaft axis. Both versions operate at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +110°C.

Hardened and ground shaft
Ball bushings for maximum performance in terms of precision, load capacity, and service life. Applications where heat treatment of the shaft is not feasible or cost-effective
Unhardened shaft
Plain bushings for untreated shafts, reducing shaft production costs.
Combined linear and rotary movements
Only plain bushings also allow rotation around the shaft axis, making them suitable for combined movements. Short travel and minimal space requirements
KH ball bushings for short travel applications where minimal space, maintenance-free operation, and cost efficiency are key requirements.
