Silent blocks, rubber buffers, and conical mounts: the complete range in rubber and metal.

JFK vibration isolators (rubber and metal vibration mounts) are components designed to absorb shocks, isolate vibrations, and reduce noise transmission between machinery and supporting structures. They improve operational stability, reliability, and the service life of mechanical components while protecting structures from dynamic loads. Available in different shapes, sizes, and configurations for a wide range of sectors, including industrial plants, agriculture and earthmoving, automotive, energy equipment, air conditioning and refrigeration, marine, and aerospace applications.

Three types for every vibration isolation requirement

The three types differ in geometry and predominant working direction. Cylindrical silent blocks perform well in all directions; rubber buffers are designed for floor mounting of machinery; conical mounts provide maximum deflection for high loads and low natural frequency.

Cylindrical silent blocks

Multidirectional operation · Threaded mounting · Vulcanized rubber-to-metal

Cylindrical elements made of vulcanized rubber bonded to threaded metal inserts, designed to isolate vibrations in all directions. Silent blocks are the standard solution for engines and small machinery.

Rubber buffers and vibration-isolating feet

Floor mounting · Wide base · Predominantly vertical loads

Wide-base mounts for floor mounting of machinery where the load acts predominantly in the vertical direction. They simplify leveling and anchoring.

Conical mounts

Maximum deflection · Low natural frequency · High loads

Rubber-to-metal conical geometry for maximum elastic deflection, suitable when a very low natural frequency is required to effectively isolate even low-frequency vibrations.

SELECTION GUIDE

Start by identifying the operating conditions

JFK vibration isolators cover a wide range of applications: from isolating small engines to leveling heavy machinery, including applications involving low-frequency vibrations that require effective isolation. Start with the operating condition that best describes your application.

Multidirectional vibrations in confined spaces

When vibrations act in multiple directions and available space is limited, cylindrical silent blocks are the standard solution.

Vertical load, floor mounting

For floor mounting with predominantly vertical loads, rubber buffers simplify machine leveling and anchoring.

Low-frequency vibrations

When a very low natural frequency is required to effectively isolate low-frequency vibrations, conical mounts provide maximum elastic deflection.
