JFK bearing units
Ready to install, for every operating condition
JFK bearing housings are complete, ready-to-install units: a housing made of cast iron, pressed sheet steel or engineering plastic that accommodates a bearing and is mounted directly to the structure, supporting rotating shafts without requiring precision machining of the housing seat. The range includes cast iron, sheet steel or plastic ball bearing housings for lighter loads and aggressive environments, and robust cast iron housings for spherical roller bearings in demanding applications. Completing the range are bearing inserts: self-aligning ball and roller units with a spherical or cylindrical outer surface to compensate for misalignment, available for replacement or custom configurations. These units are designed to simplify installation and ensure long-term reliability. Each bearing housing is selected for its verified quality, with availability and technical support guaranteed at every stage of the project.

A complete range for every bearing support requirement
The three types of bearing housings cover the full range of requirements for supporting rotating shafts. Ball bearing housings are available in cast iron, pressed sheet steel, and engineering plastic for lighter loads and aggressive environments. Roller bearing housings provide robustness and high load capacity for demanding applications. Bearing inserts complete the range as replacement components or for integration into JFK housings.

SELECTION GUIDE
Start by identifying the operating conditions
JFK bearing housings cover a wide range of applications: from lighter loads in aggressive environments to heavy-duty applications subject to shocks and vibrations, as well as installations where ease of mounting is the critical parameter. Start with the operating condition that best describes your application.
Moderate or heavy loads, mounting on a structure
Cast iron housings are the most widely used choice for moderate and heavy loads, featuring a robust one-piece structure and an integrated lubrication hole. They are available in the most common configurations, including UCP two-bolt flange units, or in pressed sheet steel for lighter loads where cost is the critical parameter.
Humid, food-processing, or chemically aggressive environments
Engineering plastic housings combine corrosion resistance, lightweight construction, and ease of cleaning. Compatible with steel or stainless steel bearings, they are the ideal solution for environments where metal housings would be exposed to corrosion or contamination.
High radial loads, demanding operating conditions
When loads are high and operating conditions are severe — shocks, vibrations, dust, and contaminants — spherical roller bearing housings provide the structural robustness and long service life that ball bearing housings cannot offer.
Replacement or integration into existing housings
Bearing inserts are the ideal choice when only the bearing inside an existing housing needs to be replaced, or when configuring a customized unit by combining a housing and bearing with the characteristics best suited to the application.Contacts
